    Attractions

For visitors who love historic destinations, Market Bosworth’s town centre is the first place to start. It has numerous old buildings which surround the market area. Pubs, shops, schools, churches and restaurants are also within the vicinity. Just a few walks from the town centre are the Bosworth Water Park, The Country Park, and Ashby Canal.

The three schools within the town centre are The Market Bosworth School, The Market Bosworth Primary and Junior School, and the Dixie Grammar School. There is an Anglican, Catholic, and Free Church in town, as well as a hotel and fire station. At the corner of the Market Place are two notable cottages namely Rose and Thistle Cottages. The Rose Cottage still remains as a private residence, while the Thistle Cottage has been transformed into the famous Tea Room and Bistro.

For food and drink, you can either go to The Black Horse pub that serves excellent food; Marston’s pub for some good Italian pizza; and the Red Lion which is also one of Market Bosworth’s oldest buildings.
